Cute Winter Clothes For Boys

Friday, December 7, 2012

For Christmas this year we are attempting the four gift plan with our boys: a WANT, a NEED, a WEAR and a READ.  I've seen a few bloggers write about their plans to do it too.  I'm already struggling with only one WANT, and I fear the WEAR will be met with less than enthusiastic responses.  I'm thinking we'll end up with 2 wants, a wear and a read and skip the need.  Are you following?  Sorry, typing my thoughts.  Anyway, coming up with clothing is not difficult for me.  Just this week we got a new {to me} catalogue from Next Direct and I thought their boy clothes were A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!

Here is a small sampling of a few of my favorites!  I had to share because I know there are a lot of boy Mamas that read this blog too.  Here is a link to the website  It's bit like a cross between Boden and Crewcuts.  I'm hoping the quality is too!

  1. I love next direct and have ordered several items from them. A year ago their shipping was really slow but my last few orders have shipped within a few days. and the quality is great! I highly recommend them

  2. How cute! thanks for posting - I've never ordered or look at Next Direct and cute boys clothes are tough to find.

Love the idea behind a want, a wear, a need and a read. I've seen other bloggers posting something similar. Wish I had more willpower when it comes to my kids and Christmas! I'd have a really hard time wittling down to one want as well.

  3. Thanks for the shopping tip, Tessa! I have two girls and a boy and find it difficult to find cute little boy clothing. Girl clothes, however, are no problem! You might want to check out Bella Bliss for your little guys. I've found very nice, classic clothing there- no writing on tee shirts proclaiming that the wearer is, "trouble." I'm really not a fan of writing on clothing! Happy shopping!

  4. Love these clothes!!! I see an order from them in my near future! Love the idea of the 4 gifts as well, however I've always wondered, are the four gifts from the parents or santa? Or both? How are you planning on splitting up Santa and parent gifts, or are all of the gifts from Santa usually?

    1. well, this year we are just doing the kid's gifts from Santa. Of course, Andrew knows who Santa is now {sniff}, but Charlie doesn't. We used to go so overboard doing Santa gifts and then our gifts, we thought this was a chance to get a handle on it a bit. still can't believe I didn't realize you live in Orlando!! how fun!! xo

  6. I've also thought that the 4 gifts idea is intriguing, but I'm wondering the same thing as Megan -- are there 4 gifts total? From Santa or parents? Just curious how other people do it!

PS -- those are super cute boys clothes -- I will have to tell my sister about them for my nephew.

  8. These Boys Winter Clothes are so cute. I bought some great new winter clothing for my little boy at Burlington Coat Factory. Max looks so cute in them. I can't wait to get some pictures at the park.
